Chennai Super Kings’ showstopper MS Dhoni once again hogged the limelight on Sunday night against Delhi Capitals when he activated his vintage mode with a splendid knock of unbeaten 37 in just 16 deliveries. The knock was studded with four boundaries and three peaches out of the park which also included a Rishabh Pant’s trademark one-handed six to Anrich Nortje.
After the conclusion of the game, MS Dhoni once again stole the show after the ground staff of Vishakhapatnam stadium turned up to the former Indian captain to have a picture clicked with him. In a video that surfaced on social media, it was seen the entire ground staff came gushingly to have the honour of getting clicked with Dhoni.
Despite the ground being a host to Delhi Capitals, the entire stadium and stadium crew managed to flow with Dhoni and his vintage knock at the same ground where he registered his maiden ODI century in 2005.
This is not the first instance where the stadium staff has gone gaga to have a picture with three times ICC winning captain after the conclusion of an IPL or an International match. Last year too, after clinching the fifth IPL trophy against GT in Ahmedabad, MS Dhoni was seen taking pictures with the local ground staff instead of having a candid with the elusive trophy.
