Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz is famously known for his lethal spell against Shane Watson during 2015 ODI World Cup. When the left-arm pacer is his rhythm, the batsmen do not really stand a chance. Having played 27 Tests, 36 T20Is and 91 Tests, he is one of the most experienced fast-bowlers in world cricket right now.

But despite all the success he has had on field, he was recently captured on the streets selling 'Chana', much to everyone's astonishment. For someone who is still playing professional cricket, what exactly led to the whole situation? Well, the 36-year-old himself revealed the mystery behind the same on Monday.

Your "Chano wala Cha-cha" of the day: Wahab Riaz

Wahab Riaz shared the footage on Twitter where he can be seen standing at a handcard, roasting 'Chanas'. A customer on a motorcycle, looking presumable perplexed because of seeing the cricketer, can also be seen waiting for his order. However, the cricketer's smile and his caption confirm that he was doing it just for fun to re-live his childhood memories.

"Your "Chano wala Cha-cha" of the day! Send your orders "kia banaon aur kitnay ka banaun"? P.S. Loved spending some time around this special handcart reminded me of my childhood days," Wahab stated in his caption.

While the fans came up with some hilarious comments on Wahab's post, his fellow countrymen and opening batsman Ahmed Shahzad had a request. "Wahab uncle Ali also wants to have some please," Shahzad tweeted, presumably suggesting that his son Ali Ahmad Khan wishes to have some Chana made by his uncle Wahab.

Wahab Riaz will be seen playing in PSL 2022

Although Wahab is spending his free time in nostalgia, the cricketer will be back on the field very soon as he gets set to lead Peshawar Zalmi in 2022 edition of Pakistan Super League, beginning on January 27. The left-arm pacer, who won everyone's hearts with his 'Chana' selling skills would now hope to do the same magic with his lethal bowling this season.
