It has been a while since fans last saw MS Dhoni in action. The former Indian skipper was last seen playing cricket in IPL 2022 where his side Chennai Super Kings finished second to last on the points table. However, on Thursday, MSD was seen in action but in a different sport. The legendary wicketkeeper was seen playing golf.
MS Dhoni was seen playing in Kapil Dev - Grant Thornton Invitational 2022 event. A Dhoni fan page posted a clip of Dhoni playing golf. Notably, Rs. 1 crore Kapil Dev–Grant Thornton Invitational is currently going on in Gurugram and Dhoni was invited by Kapil Dev himself in the event as a guest.
Talking about the event, local golfer Kartik Sharma scored a five-under 67 to take a two-shot lead at the halfway stage of Kapil Dev–Grant Thornton Invitational. Gurugram-based Kartik totalled six-under 138 after round two.
Manu Gandas posted a 66 to be placed tied second at four-under 140 along with Delhi’s Sachin Baisoya (68).
Earlier in the day, round one was finally completed after a delay on Tuesday due to fading light with Dhruv Sheoran emerging as leader by two shots at 68. However, Sheoran slipped to fourth on Wednesday at three-under 141 after a 73 in round two.
