Delhi Capitals did not have a great start to match despite after opting to bat first in match against Gujarat Titans. While Mohammed Shami scalped the first wicket on the very first delivery on the match to send Philip Salt at duck, a brilliant effort from Rashid Khan helped GT take their second wicket in form of DC skipper David Warner.
Things continued to haunt the DC camp as Mohammed Shami and Wriddhiman Saha’s combined effort helped GT get their third in form of Rilee Rossouw. In the fifth over, the two GT players again combined to dismiss Manish Pandey. On the first delivery of the fifth over, wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha flew towards his right to complete a stunning catch and put DC on the backfoot inside the powerplay.
