The 2022 Ranj Trophy final continues to be one of the most entertaining fixtures in the Indian sporting calendar where two historic teams in Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh lock horns. The 41-time champions had another dominant start but soon MP fought back thanks to an incredible batting display.

Their opener Yash Dubey smashed a magnificent 109 in 256 balls. Celebrating this incredible knock, Yash Dubey had a special gesture prepared as he replicated KL Rahul’s ‘silence the voice’ celebration. He then followed this celebration with late rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s signature step.

But so far in the final, Yash Dubey isn’t the only player to score a brilliant century in the final. Mumbai’s Sarfaraz Khan also scored a dominating 134 run-knock. Reacting to his century, Khan said, "You all know the roller-coaster ride I've had, if not for my father, I wouldn't have been here."

“When we had nothing, I used to travel with my father in trains. When I started playing cricket, I dreamt of scoring a century for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. That was fulfilled. Then I had another dream of scoring a hundred in a Ranji final when my team needed it the most. That is why I got emotional after my century and had tears in my eyes because my father has worked very hard.”
