During Australian star Nick Kyrgios and Russia's Karen Khachanov's US Open 2022 quarterfinals matchup on Wednesday, YouTube prankster JiDion was spotted getting a haircut in the front row at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Later, the social media star was removed by the tournament security.

The 26-year-old Russian international defeated World No 25 Nick Kyrgios in the quarter-final by 5-7, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6.  Khachanov will next face World No 7 Casper Ruud of Norway in the semi-final of the last grand slam of the year.

In a viral video, YouTube star JiDion was spotted getting a hair-cut and received a mixed reaction from the crowd following his bizarre yet hilarious act.

“When someone saw it, security went to the two individuals. They were escorted out of their seats and then off the grounds for disruption of play,” U.S. Tennis Association Brendan McIntyre said, adding: “There's a first time time for anything.”

This was the second time when JiDion tried to get a haircut at a sporting event, he decided to get a trim at a Timberwolves home game against the Mavericks on March 25. He also blew an airhorn during a quarterfinal match between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner in July and received a lifetime ban from Wimbledon.
