Yuzvendra Chahal recently donated a sum of INR 1 lakh to the victim s of the Odisha Train accident during S8UL Esports’ live stream on YouTube. The accident occurred on Friday evening in Odisha where two passenger trains and a stationery goods train were involved in a collision.
More than 1,000 injured were taken to hospitals for treatment while many families state that individuals are still missing the wreckage. Further, this deadly collision is India's worst rail accident of the century. Hence in support of the victims, S8UL Esports hosted a live stream to raise funds where Yuzvendra Chahal donated INR 1 lakh.

The live stream emerged as a success as S8UL managed to raise over INR 15 lakhs for the cause as renowned creators of S8UL, including Tanmay Singh (ScoutOP), Naman Mathur (Mortal), Lokesh Jain (8Bit_Goldy) participated. Speaking about this initiative, Tanmay Singh expressed how this seemed to be his responsibility, coming from Odisha. ScoutOP further expressed gratitude towards the members of S8UL and Yuzvendra Chahal, forth their support in this initiative.
"Being from Odisha, I strongly felt it was my responsibility to do whatever I could within my capacity and help the people affected by this tragic disaster. The overwhelming success of the charity stream brings me an incredible sense of pride and joy. Raising INR 15 Lakhs will greatly aid those in need," Tamnay Singh said.
