Zimbabwe fans were seen picking up garbage, and cleaning the stadium after Zimbabwe won their first game in the ICC World Cup Qualifier. Several fans stayed back after the match was over and were seen picking up the litter they had made and disposing it into proper garbage bags.


After this thumping victory, several fans at the Harare Sports Club waited behind and were seen cleaning up the area. This kind gesture by the fans gained a lot of attention and appreciation from social media users. A Twitter user posted the video, in which fans could be seen picking up the garbage.



After watching this, many users appreciated the fans at the stadium. People took to twitter to express their appreciation and gratitude towards such gesture.



 

 

Zimbabwe cruised past Nepal by eight wickets in their first game of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers. After losing the toss, Nepal were put into bat in the first innings as they put up a competitive total of 290 on the board against a fairly experienced Zimbabwe attack. Batting second, Zimbabwe were reduced to 45-1, but they quickly recovered from it and went on to win the game comfortably by eight wickets, courtesy of centuries from skipper Craig Ervine and Sean Williams. 


Zimbabwe will next square off against Netherlands in their second game on Tuesday at the Harare Sports Club.
