Pink Panthers captain Sunil Kumar thanked fans after the team registered their fourth consecutive win on home turf in the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Kumar-led Panthers locked horns with Haryana Steelers in the 77th match of the league on January 17, Wednesday, at the jam-packed Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The match saw the Panthers registering their tenth win of the season as well as their fourth consecutive win at home as they beat Haryana 37-27.

The Panthers ended their home-leg matches on a winning note and after their Wednesday-night encounter, captain Sunil Kumar thanked fans for the same. In the post-match conference, Kumar expressed gratitude towards his fans and said that the team owes the Jaipur wins to them. In the conference, Kumar said, “Our fans have been very supportive throughout the matches we played in Jaipur. I believe it was our fans’ support that we remained unbeaten at home, and we owe these victories to them."
Kumar added, “While there won’t be any more matches in Jaipur, I’d request our fans to keep supporting us. Keep extending us your support, and watch us play on your TV sets. I’d like to assure you that we will strive to retain the trophy.” Talking about their encounter against Haryana, the Panthers’ defence delivered an outstanding performance, and helped the side register a win over their counterparts by a 10-wicket margin.
The table toppers will now lock horns with Bengal Warriors in the 84th clash of the season at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on January 22, Monday. In another clash of the day, Gujarat Giants defeated Dabang Delhi K.C.31-26.
