We Want PUBG Mobile Lite India: Popular creators urge developers
GodPraveen YT, with over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, has raised his demands to developers via an Instagram story campaign to make the PUBG Mobile Lite India version or bring the game to a playable form, as currently there are a lot of issues the game is facing in PUBG Mobile Lite.
In an Instagram story, GodPraveen YT said, “Hello, Krafton India Team,I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out as a passionate fan of PUBG Mobile Lite, which has been banned for over 4 years now. Sadly, there has been no official statement or action regarding its status from the Indian government or from your side, even though PUBG Mobile (BGMI), which was banned at the same time, has already made a comeback as Battlegrounds Mobile India.”
“PUBG Mobile Lite is not just a game for many of us — it holds memories, emotions, and a lot of personal investment. Just like BGMI players feel connected to their game, we too are emotionally attached to PUBG Mobile Lite. Even if bringing regular updates is not possible, we humbly request you to at least bring the game back in a playable form — by removing hackers, fixing bugs and glitches, and maintaining the servers. That alone would mean a lot to us. And if there’s any possibility of the game returning officially, please make an announcement or give us some clarity. The silence has been #wewantpubgmobileliteIndianversion‘
Both PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned at the same time in India in 2020. In 2021, Krafton India launched its alternative Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), which is similar to PUBG Mobile. However, PUBG Mobile Lite remains banned, and till now there is no official announcement made by developers on the game’s return or its Indian version.
Notably, many gamers are still playing PUBG Mobile Lite using VPNs and other apps, but the current state of the game is very hard to play. There are several issues in the game, and the major PUBG Mobile Lite 0.28.0 update has also been on hold for over a year now.
However, we strongly suggest gamers play Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) instead of the banned game PUBG Mobile Lite. Playing a banned game is illegal, and it can be dangerous if you download it from third-party sources.
