Washington Sundar looked impressive in the three-match T20I series against New Zealand, as he ended up smashing a 28-ball fifty in the first T20I match at Ranchi and also picked three wickets in that series overall. Sundar's crucial partnership with Suryakumar Yadav has helped India to score a fighting total from 15/3 to 155/9, although they ended up losing that T20I game but Axar Patel's inclusion might have dented his chance to return for the T20I squad.
