Cricket Australia on Monday, August 7 named its extended 18-member squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.   The notable name missing a place in the ODI World Cup squad was Marnus Labuschagne. The Aussie mainstay, who has featured in 30 of Australia’s 38 50-over matches, has been left over uncapped leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha and all-rounder Aaron Hardie.

 

West Indies star Nicholas Pooran fined for breaching ICC Code of Conduct
West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran has been fined 15 percent of his match fee for violating the ICC Code of Conduct during the second T20I against India in Guyana on Sunday. Pooran was also given one demerit point for his first offense in a 24-month period.
