Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was seen shouting at Erling Haaland during half time of the match against Burnley in a Premier League game on August 12, Saturday (IST). It happened despite the striker’s two goals against their rivals, taking them to a 3-0 victory against Burnley. After Haaland’s double before the half time, their third came by Rodri.

Chandigarh Court puts stay on Wrestling Federation of India elections
The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) elections that were scheduled to be hosted on August 12, Saturday, have been put to a halt. Earlier the elections of the WFI were scheduled from July 6 to July 11 as per the Indian Olympic Association (IOC) but were later postponed to August 12. However, a day before the elections, the Chandigarh High Court put a stay on the polling.

High school basketball star Caleb White dies after collapsing on court
One of the rising stars of high school basketball, Caleb White, tragically died after collapsing on the court after a workout session. The 17-year-old was rushed to the hospital where efforts to resuscitate him failed. The cause of death has not been officially released, though White’s mother stated that the young player suffered a cardiac arrest.
Pinson Valley High School Principal Michael Turner made the announcement in a letter sent to parents and the media. He stated that grief counselling would be made available to all the students who needed it in difficult time.

Indian hockey team defeats Japan 5-0 to reach final of Asian Champions Trophy 2023
Indian hockey team recorded a 5-0 win over Japan in the second semi-final round of Asian Champions Trophy 2023. Notably, India remained unbeaten in the entire season, and won four of their five group-stage games to be the table toppers. Though their group stage clash with Japan ended in a 1-1 draw, the Harmanpreet Singh side made it a lop-sided affair in the semis. In the final, the Indian men will lock horns with Malaysia on August 12, Saturday.

Fousey reveals how Jake Paul supported him in his rough patch
YouTube superstar Yousef Saleh Erakat, better known as Fousey revealed that former YouTuber and Boxer Jake Paul saved his life. Fousey was in an interview with Bradley Martyn, where he said that Paul paid for his hospital bills and took him to therapists, when he had nobody in his life.
Pousey revealed that it was Paul who helped him get professional help and psychiatric treatment for getting out of the rough patch.
