Kolkata Knight Riders after a poor IPL season in 2023 have released a lot of players as their current squad consists of only 13 members. KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer missed out on playing the entire 2023 IPL edition due to an unfortunate injury, thus his return to the squad will add immense value to the side in the 2024 IPL.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz has been in good touch with the bat in the 2023 World Cup by scoring 280 runs from 9 innings with two fifties to his name respectively. Gurbaz in the 2023 IPL season 227 runs from 11 innings at a strike rate of 133.52.
Jason Roy was impressive for KKR in the last IPL season as he scored 285 from 8 innings at an impressive strike rate of 151.59 which included a knock of 61 runs from 26 balls against CSK and a knock off scoring 56 runs from 29 balls against RCB.
