However, a source was quoted saying by News18 that the discussions are already underway between GT and the former Indian all-rounder Singh, adding that the franchise could see a lot of changes. “Lot of changes on the cards. Ashish Nehra and Vikram Solanki are highly likely to move on and discussions around Yuvraj Singh have already begun. Nothing is finalised right now, but there could be some major changes in the coaching staff of the Gujarat Titans,” a source stated as quoted by News18.

Indian Premier League franchises have reportedly made suggestions ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. The franchises have shared a few suggestions with IPL officials during feedback sessions on player retentions before the auction. The next steps will be discussed when officials meet the franchise owners in probably the last week of July. A senior official at a franchise told ESPNcricinfo, that conducting a mega auction every five years instead of the present three-year cycle would be more beneficial. A longer gap would ensure that teams get more time to train and build continuity by developing young and uncapped Indian players.
