The Harmanpreet Kaur-led women in Blue ended the South Africa series on a high as they clinched the ODI-leg and the one-off Test, whereas they settled for a series draw in T20Is after they won the third and final T20I at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday, July 9. On the other hand, the Shubman Gill-led Men in Blue are locking horns with Zimbabwe in a five-match T20I series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe. While the series stand leveled 1-1 with both teams winning a match each, the third T20I is set to take place on Wednesday at 4:30 pm IST.

3rd T20I: Zimbabwe vs India

Zimbabwe will be playing against India in the third T20I of the five-match series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. The Indian cricket team bounced back strongly from an early setback in the first T20I, ensuring that they level the series at 1-1. 

1st Test: England vs West Indies

England will take on West Indies in the first of the three-match Test series at the iconic Lord’s in London from July 10 till July 14. Both teams have played a total of 163 Test with England winning 51 of them, while West Indies have come out on top in 59 occasions. As they take the field today, the hosts, England will aim to take a lead, giving a fitting farewell to James Anderson, who ends his career being the first pacer to breach the 700-wicket mark.

The Indian women's team finished the bilateral series against South Africa on a high after registering a 10-wicket in the 3rd T20I. Bowling first, India bundled out South Africa at 84 on the back of Pooja Vastrakar's 4-13. Then India chased down the total in 10.5 overs without losing a wicket as Smriti Mandhana top-scored with a 54 not out.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Jay Shah confirmed the appointment of Gautam Gambhir as the new Head Coach of the men's national team.
