The most-awaited group stage clash in the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, taking place in the U.S.A and West Indies, between India and Pakistan is around the corner as the two teams are scheduled to face each other on Sunday in New York.

David Miller's half-century helps South Africa beat Netherlands by 4 wickets

In a low-scoring thriller between South Africa and the Netherlands, the Proteas completed their revenge and won the match by four wickets with 7 balls remaining. Sybrand Engelbrecht (40) and Logan van Beek's (23) 54-run partnership for the seventh wicket helped the Netherlands go past the 100-run mark as Ottneil Baartman picked up four wickets while Anrich Nortje and Marco Jansen dismissed two players each. South Africa lost early wickets as they were reduced to 12/4 in 4.3 overs. However, David Miller (59*) and Tristan Stubbs (33) ensured the victory for their side.

Australia register highest score in T20 World Cup 2024; beat England by 36 runs

In the 17th match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 between Australia and England at the Kensington Oval, Barbados, the 2021 T20 World Cup champions registered the highest total in the tournament and became the first team to move past the 200-run mark. Warner (39 off 16) and Head (34 off 18) combined for 70 runs in 5 overs for the first wicket followed by Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis' hard hitting that helped the Aussies to put 201 runs on the board. England openers Phil Salt and Jos Buttler gave a decent start, however, Adam Zampa removed both openers and Australia took control of the match.

Akeal Hosein's 5-wicket haul help Windies beat Uganda by 134 runs

Batting first, West Indies put 173 runs on the board at a loss of five wickets with Johnson Charles scoring 44 off 42 with two sixes and 4 fours followed by Andre Russell's unbeaten knock of 30 off 17. In the second innings, the Windies didn't let any Uganda batter to settle as Akeal Hosein picked up five wickets while Alzarri Joseph dismissed two players to bowl out Uganda to 39 runs in 12 overs.

Virat Kohli opened in the T20 World Cup 2024 when he walked out to bat alongside Rohit Sharma in Team India's opening match against Ireland. But will he continue to open for the side in a high-octane match against Pakistan?
