With their seventh victory in the ongoing IPL season, the defending champions have surpassed SRH to manage the third spot in the IPL 2024 standings. For the Royals,  Riyan Parag played a decent innings of 47* off 35, to ensure his side didn’t collapse in a heap, scoring 141/5 in their allotted overs.  In the chase, CSK batters contributed significantly as skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad remained unbeaten at a score of 42 to help his side pull off the win in 18.2 overs with five wickets remaining.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their dream comeback in IPL 2024 after defeating the Delhi Capitals by 47 runs at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. With this victory, RCB have now won five straight games to get up to the fifth spot on the table. On the other hand, the Capitals slipped to the sixth spot as they still have a superior net run rate compared to the Lucknow Super Giants. Rajat Patidar, Will Jacks, and Cameron Green helped RCB post 187 runs on the board at a loss of nine wickets while Yash Dayal and Lockie Ferguson's lethal bowling helped Bengaluru bowl out Delhi at 140 runs in 19.1 overs.

KKR's Ramandeep Singh penalised for IPL Code of Conduct breach against MI

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Ramandeep Singh has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct in the match against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday, May 11. The Indian batting all-rounder committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct and the cricketer has also admitted to the offence and match referee’s decision.
