Mumbai Indians hosted Lucknow Super Giants for the 67th clash of the Indian Premier League on May 17, Friday at the Wankhede Stadium. While Mumbai Indians became the first side to crash out of the IPL 2024, LSG joined them despite a comprehensive win. Batting first, LSG registered 214 runs at a loss of six wickets as Nicholas Pooran (75-off-29) and KL Rahul (55-off-41) displayed their tremendous batting performance while MI's Nuwan Thushara and Piyush Chawla picked up three wickets each. For MI, Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir scored quick half-centuries, however, LSG's bowling attack restricted them to 196 runs at a loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

Australian writer and filmmaker Jarrod Kimber spoke about Virat Kohli’s busy schedule and said that there’s a joke in the RCB is he is the busiest man in the world.
