Team India is currently locking horns with Bangladesh in the second ODI on Wednesday. The Men in Blue are aiming to level the series after they lost the opening match of the three-match series on December 4.

However the match started slow, Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood as he dismissed opener Anamul Haque. Before his dismissal, the Men in Blue were seen worried as skipper Rohit Sharma walked out of the field with an injury.

On the fourth ball of the second over, Rohit Sharma dropped a catch of Anamul while he was placed at second slip. While he dropped to collect the ball, Rohit hurt himself and was seen bleeding as he walked off the field. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was soon to give an update on the injury as he was taken for scans.

The BCCI clarified that Sharma has injured his webbing and was referred to the hospital for X-ray.

Talking about the match, Litton Das won the toss and elected to bat first. None of the batters could stay long in the middle as Mohammed Siraj clinched two while Washington Sundar scalped two wickets. Umaran Malik too took a wicket as Bangladesh stand at 93/6 after 24 overs.
