Pakistan speedster Aamer Yamin has taken a dig at the Ahmedabad crowd during the first T20I between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The official attendance in the opening match on Friday, March 12, was calculated at a stunning 67,200. The newly built venue is known to be the largest stadium in the world, which means that even a 50 per cent attendance allowed during COVID-19 times could entertain such a big crowd.

However, despite such a large public gathering for a cricket match, few were seen practicing social distancing or wearing a mask. Yamin took the opportunity to remind the fans that the pandemic is still not over. Reacting to a picture shared by ESPNCricinfo depicting crowd capacity with fans cheering for the home team, Yamin wrote, "Where is Corona?"

Here is Yamin's comment

Kohli out for a duck in Ahmedabad

Indian captain Virat Kohli departed for a duck in the first T20I. With this, Kohli has now registered most international ducks (14) for an Indian captain. He surpassed Sourav Ganguly, who had 13 ducks in international cricket. MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev had 11 and 10 ducks against their name, respectively, during their stint as the captain of India.
