The Charlotte Hornets haven't enjoyed a lot of success in the 2023-24 season with the team struggling at the 13th spot in the eastern conference. But the fans have expressed support and adoration towards  Ashley ShahAhmadi, one of the team's sideline reporters.

ShahAhmadi shot up to stardom with her witty post-match interviews, good looks,  and infectious smile. This fandom has helped Ashley gain around 100K followers on Instagram and close to 37K followers on X (formerly Twitter).

Ashley ShahAhmadi has been an avid fan of sports and supports the Georgia Bulldogs of the University of Georgia, her alma mater. Hailing from  Kennesaw, Georgia, she worked with NBA TV during the 2023 Playoffs. Besides this new gig, she covers the Charlotte Hornets and Atlanta Braves for Bally Sports.

The University of Georgia graduate began her career in Meridian, Mississippi and spent two years as a sports anchor, producer, and reporter for WTOK-TV. She then moved to Jackson and worked for ABC affiliate WAPT.

Ashley then got a major break as she switched to the Atlanta-based Fox Sports Southeast, known as Bally Sports Southeast. She started as a host on social media for Atlanta-based teams before joining the Hornets as a host and reporter on digital platforms.
