In a surprising yet shocking turn of events, two-time Olympic medallist and India’s ‘Golden Boy’ Neeraj Chopra tied a knot with Himani Mor. Ace javelin thrower took to social media to share the surprising news with his fans and followers, sharing pictures of his intimate wedding ceremony, captioning it, “Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”

However, the pictures went viral in no time, fans were also left guessing who is his wife, Himani Mor. It is to be noted that the intimate wedding ceremony took place in Himachal with only 40-50 guests in attendance. Coming back to Neeraj Chopra’s wife, Himani is a tennis player, who hails from Sonipat.

Who is Himani Mor? Neeraj Chopra’s wife

Himani Mor, who is aged 25, hails from Sonipat and did her schooling at the Little Angels School in her hometown. Daughter of Chand Ram, Himani is currently pursuing her masters in Sports Management (Major) at the Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire and is an alumuni of Delhi University’s Miranda House. She completed her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Physical Education. On the other hand, according to NDTV, Himani is currently studying in the US at the McCormack Isenberg School of Management in Ahherst, Massachusetts.

A tennis player by profession, Himani Mor is said to have participated at the 2017 World University Games in Taipei after competing at the national level for DU. As per the data available on her school website, the 25-year-old won a gold medal in World Junior Tennis Championship, held in Malaysia in 2016.

As per the All India Tennis Association (AITA) website, Himani’s career best national ranking was 42 in singles an 27 in doubles, which she achieved in 2018.
