Rohit Sharma-led Team India is locking horns with England in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the third ODI is a dead-rubber after the hosts clinched the series after claiming back-to-back games in Nagpur and Cuttack, beating England by four wickets respectively.

As the two captains took the field on Wednesday, February 12 for toss, they were seen sporting green armbands as part of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)’s “Donate Organs, Save Lives” awareness initiative. Earlier on Monday, February 10, former BCCI Secretary and current ICC Chairman, Jay Shah confirmed of this initiative as part of the third ODI.

Taking to X, Jay Shah wrote, "On the occasion of the 3rd ODI between India and England in Ahmedabad on February 12th, we are proud to launch an awareness initiative - "Donate Organs, Save Lives." The BCCI aims to inspire, unite and create awareness through this initiative, promoting organ donation.

As part of the initiative, the members of the two teams were seen donning a green armbands. Prior to the toss, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma was also seen signing a banner which had “Donate Organs. Save Lives” written on it.
