After being invited to bat first, Shikhar Dhawan’s Punjab Kings posted 197 in their 20 overs. While it was skipper Shikhar  Dhawan who led from the front with his knock of unbeaten 86 off 56 deliveries, opener Prabhsimran Singh stole the show with his firepower knock of 60.

But in the second innings, everyone was left startled as it was Ashwin who walked in with Yashasvi Jaiswal to open. However, it was later revealed that the England wicketkeeper-batter had sustained a slight injury on his finger while completing a catch in the penultimate over of Punjab Kings.

After Buttler completed a stunning diving catch to dismiss in-form batter Prabhsimran Singh, he took another incredible catch to dismiss Shahrukh Khan. Buttler ran in and slid forward to complete the catch in front of his shoe lace, suffering a slight injury on finger.

However, the England opener later walked into bat after Arshdeep Singh managed to dismiss Yashasvi Jaiswal at the score of 11 in the second over of the innings.
