The Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are taking on Lucknow Super Giants in Match 15 of IPL 2024 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both the teams are coming off contrasting results. While Lucknow Super Giants, who were led by Nicholas Pooran in their last fixture, beat Punjab Kings by 21 runs. On the other hand, the RCB lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by seven wickets.
As the two skippers joined in the middle for the toss, it was the home skipper who won the toss and invited the visitors to put the score first on the board. While Faf called for one change in the XI with Reece Topley replacing Alzarri Joseph, the LSG skipper also called for a change.
KL Rahul, who returned at helm after playing the last match as an impact substitute in Lucknow, at the toss revealed that Mohsin Khan complained of sore back and has thus been ruled out of this fixture in IPL 2024. “Just one change - Mohsin Khan has a sore back and Yash Thakur comes in”, KL said at the toss.
