Royal Challengers Bengaluru have returned to their home ground as they will take on Delhi Capitals in match number 24 of IPL 2025 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Ahead of the match, DC won the toss and elected to bowl against RCB. However, the Axar Patel-led side is coming with one change in the playing XI as young wicketkeeper Sameer Rizvi has been benched for the upcoming match.
Notably, Sameer Rizvi was included in the playing XI in the last game against Chennai Super Kings as vice-captain Faf du Plessis wasn’t available for selection. Now, Du Plessis is back in the lineup and will be seen in action against his ex-franchise RCB. Due to this, Sameer Rizvi has been benched again.
DC aim to continue winning run in IPL 2025
Delhi Capitals are yet to lose a game in IPL 2025 and are coming after three consecutive wins so far. Now, Axar Patel and his men will be looking to continue their great form and register a fourth consecutive win of the season. Meanwhile, the only loss RCB faced this season was at their home ground in a match against Gujarat Titans. Now, RCB will be looking to continue their winning run at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium as well.
