Rajasthan Royals (RR) are taking on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing IPL 2025 match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. It will be a crucial game for RR to keep their playoff hopes alive and stand-in skipper Riyan Parag has opted to field after winning the important toss. However, Parag also confirmed that RR are going without two of their key players, Wanindu Hasaranga and Sandeep Sharma.

Notably, spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has a niggle while fast bowler Sandeep Sharma has a broken finger due to which both the players have been benched against MI in Jaipur. In their place, RR are playing with Kumar Kartikeya and Akash Madhwal in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash. Talking about Hardik Pandya confirmed that they are playing with the same team.

We take it one game at a time: Riyan Parag

At the toss, RR stand-in captain Riyan Parag reflected on RR’s playoffs chances in IPL 2025. After five consecutive losses, RR registered a famous win over Gujarat Titans with the help of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 35-ball hundred. Speaking at the toss, Parag said that RR are looking to focus on one game at a time.

“Three games ago, the message was we take it one game at a time. If we play to our potential, we know how good we can be. Just want to give everyone the freedom to play their game,” Parag said.
