Axar Patel's all-round brilliance with the bat and ball helped India to win back-to-back thrilling matches against the Caribbean side. With this win they have sealed another ODI series (2-0) under their cap with one more match to be played. West Indies winning the toss opted to bat first and posted a challenging total of 311/6. Shai Hope once showed his class with the bat and he was well supported by skipper Nicholas Pooran at the other end.
India in the chase kept ticking the scoreboard despite losing wickets at regular intervals. Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson's useful contribution helped India to get closer to their target but at one stage the team looked in deep trouble as they needed 100 runs in last 10 overs. In the end, it was Axar Patel who took India home with a stunning knock off unbeaten 64 from 35 balls.
