As per reports by Sports Tak, all the former skippers will be honoured with special customised blazers in the morning of the summit clash to wear in the due course of the game. The reports further suggest that several former cricketers, including the likes of Clive Lloyd, Kapi Dev, Allan Border, Arjuna Ranatunga, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, MS Dhoni, Michael Clarke, and Eoin Morgan will mark their presence at the stadium.

Not only this, but the ceremony will also feature short clips of the captains guiding their sides to winning the World Cup that will be followed by a short question-answer round with the BCCI anchor. Apart from the felicitation ceremony, there will be an air show by the Indian Air Force’s acrobatic team, Suryakiran.

India has made it to the finals after 12 long years to lock horns with Australia in a re-match of the 2003 World Cup final.
