Indian Premier League is a platform where unbelievable things happen, and it has already started with the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Despite knowing that Jofra Archer will not be available for the 15th edition of the IPL, franchises aggressively bid for the English pacer. Mumbai Indians started the bidding war and eventually won it by outbidding Rajasthan Royals. They got Archer for a whopping 8 Crores. With this, Mumbai Indians now have the most lethal attack of the Indian Premier League in the form of Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer.

This selection from Mumbai Indians sent Twitter into a frenzy as users started demanding the closure of the tournament already. "Jofra Archer to Mumbai Indians. Bumrah-Archer! Wrap up this tournament already," wrote a user on Twitter. Cricket expert Harsha Bhogle also looked mighty impressed with this buy and reckoned that MI were saving for Archer from the start.
