In the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final at the iconic Lord’s, Australia are defending their title against the Temba Bavuma-led South Africa, who have been dominating thus far in the match. Fielding first, the Protea side have witnessed the belligerent sides of their pacers Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada. In the contest, both have troubled the reigning champions. Amidst their dominance, the Aussie veteran Steven Smith stepped up and struck his 42nd Test fifty. Both South Africa and Australia will look to be at their best to clinch the illustrious mace.

Australia bundled out for 212
In the third session, South Africa saw the dominance of Kagiso Rabada, who grabbed three more wickets to record a fifer to his name. The Protea quick got rid of the Aussie captain Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Beau Webster in the final session of the day. Earlier, he got the better of Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green.
The 30-year-old is the second bowler to bag a five-wicket haul in the WTC finals. His remarkable bowling helped South Africa to fold the defending champions on a mere 212. Marco Jansen has also bolstered South Africa's position in the game as he also took three wickets in the innings.
