Former Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher accused CBS Sports anchor Kate Abdo of cheating on her boyfriend Malik Scott during the live coverage. Carragher was on the CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage alongside Thierry Henry and Micah Richards, and Kate Abdo hosted the panel. Abdo has been dating American boxer Deontay Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott. During the coverage, the former footballer accused Abdo of cheating on her boyfriend.
This led to an awkward exchange between the two of them. During the show ahead of the clash between Arsenal and Porto, Carragher asked Richards to wear the jersey after he revealed supporting the Gunners. Later, the 46-year-old suggested Thierry Henry and Abdo wear the shirts while making a bizarre accusation against Abdo.

The former Liverpool defender accused the anchor of cheating on her boyfriend Malik Scott. He said, “You [Henry] can wear it next and for the last part [of the show] you [Abdo] have got to wear it.” Reacting to Carragher’s remarks, Abdo replied, “No, I am loyal.” She was then asked by the former footballer to whom she was loyal, to which she added, “To Manchester United, thank you very much.”
The former defender didn’t stop there and said, “You're not loyal to Malik.” The comment clearly didn’t go well with the CBS anchor and she said, “What? How can you even say that?”, leaving their fellow hosts awkward. Notably, Abdo recently revealed that she is in a relationship with Malik Scott.
