Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh showed his vintage and took the fans down the memory lane with his fiery knock in the semi-final of the International Master League iml(IML) against Australia Masters at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. The left-hander smashed 59 runs off 30 balls as India Masters defeated Australia Masters by 94 runs to enter the final.
Batting first, India Masters posted a total of 220 runs for the loss seven wickets in their 20 overs along with contributions from Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Stuart Binny and Yusuf Pathan. In reply, Australia Masters were bowled out for 126 runs in 18.1 overs with Ben Cutting scoring 39 runs.

Batting first, India Masters got a great start as skipper Sachin Tendulkar scored 42 runs off 30 balls hitting seven boundaries. After that, Yuvraj Singh took charge of the innings and scored 59 off 30 balls with one four and seven sixes. Stuart Binny also contributed with 36(21) runs while Yusuf Pathan scored a quickfire 23(10) along with Irfan Pathan’s 19*(7) runs. For Australia Masters, Xavier Doherty and Daniel Christian took two wickets each while Nathan Coulter-Nile, Steve OKeefe and Ben Hilfenhaus scalped a wicket each.
Chasing the winning target, Australia Masters kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shaun Marsh, Ben Dunk and Nathan Reardon scored 21 runs each while Ben Cutting top scored with 39(30) runs hitting three fours and as many sixes. However, none of the other batters could play a big knock as Australia Masters fell short of 94 runs from India Masters’ total. For India, Shahbaz Nadeem took four wickets, Vinay Kumar and Irfan Pathan scalped two wickets each while Pawan Negi and Stuart Binny scalped a wicket each.
