Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has congratulated Team India on their Champions Trophy 2025 victory. Yuvraj took to X and tagged India’s 10 players who featured in the final of the ICC tournament held in Dubai on March 9. However, the 43-year-old posted the congratulatory text and left out Virat Kohli, who contributed to India’s sensational triumph with 281 runs in five matches. Kohli struggled to be among the runs in the final game but showcased his batting mettle in the high-octane games against Pakistan and Australia in Dubai.
Yuvraj showered praises on Rohit Sharma’s captaincy through his X post. “What a game and what a final! The Champions Trophy comes home. Outstanding captaincy by hitman @IamRo45 who led from the front all thru the tournament - he is blessed with the Midas touch when it comes to ICC white ball tournaments! Successful games for @ShreyasIyer15 @ShubmanGill @klrahul @hardikpandya7 who stepped up when needed and showed nerves of steel under pressure. @imjadeja @imkuldeep18 @akshar2026 #VarunChakaravarthy spun magic all thru the tournament and @MdShami11 was relentless with the ball! Tough luck @BLACKCAPS you had us on the edge till the very end. But this was our tournament!”, penned Yuvraj on X.
