The exchange began when Speed asked Brown about his move to Philadelphia and whether he was enjoying his new city. Brown replied, "It's a crazy business, bro... don't become a basketball player. There's no loyalty. There's no love. They packed me up. They packed me up." He added with a laugh, "Sayonara, chat. I'm out of here," referencing the shock of leaving Boston after a decade with the franchise.

His comments echoed the disappointment he expressed after the trade, when he said he was still processing how everything unfolded and felt there had been a lack of respect during the process.
