India Eye Strong Performances on Day 6

The country's best prospects for winning medals lie in the sport of weightlifting. Nirupama Devi Seram participates in the final event in the category of women's 63kg, followed by Harjinder Kaur, who will participate in the women's 69kg category final as India tries to increase their success story of weightlifting. In boxing, there are five important quarterfinals. Preeti Pawar, Priya Ghanghas, Parveen Hooda, Jadumani Singh, and Kapil Pokhariya all participate in the hopes of getting into the semis. Winning any of the matches guarantees at least a bronze medal. Meanwhile, lawn bowlers Dinesh Kumar and Navneet Singh play against Cook Islands in the men's pairs, and Nayanmoni Saikia faces Wales' Amy Williams in the women's singles.
