LA 2028 will be the fifth time USA host the Summer Olympics
As per the UK-based media house, The Guardian, the regional qualifiers stipulate that the highest-ranking T20 international (T20I) team from each continent, will be granted permission to appear at the LA28 games.
There will be men’s and women’s tournaments in the T20I format at the LA28 as far as the sport of cricket is concerned with six teams participating in each of them.

Cricket is set to make a return at Olympic Games for the first time since 1900.
The 2028 edition of the Summer Games is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles.
