What a day at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 it has been for India. While some registered their personal best figures, it was the star para athlete Bhavinaben Patel who stunned the world with her performance in table tennis.
The ace paddler from India earlier defeated World No. 8 Brazil’s Joyce de Oliveira in straight games, entering the quarterfinals of the ongoing Paralympics. She later went on to ease past defending Olympic gold medalist & World No. 2 ranked Borislava Peric-Rankovic. Bhavina stormed into the semis defeating the Serbian 3-0 on the Women’s Singles Class 4 table tennis match at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
