After successful completion of the Thailand Open two weeks ago, the 2022 BWF World Tour now moves to Indonesia for the 12th edition of the Indonesia Masters. The tenth tournament in the 2022 BWF World Tour season, Indonesia Masters will kick off on 7 June and will be played over for six days with final on 12 June.
India have representation in all the five categories of the Super 500 tournament with Lakshya Sen and PV Sindhu as the top seeds in the Men’s and Women’s Singles categories respectively. While Sen is seeded seventh, Sindhu is the fourth seed. Other prominent names from India in the singles categories include Saina Nehwal, HS Prannoy, and P Kashyap (all unseeded).
Kidambi Srikanth, the men’s doubles pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy are not taking a part in the tournament after a hectic Thomas and Uber Cup Finals.
