Bangladesh have sealed the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka at home following their brilliant 120-run win on Tuesday. It was a completely dominating performance from the hosts as they absolutely outplayed the inexperienced Sri Lanka side in all departments and handed them an embarrassing defeat.
After securing a comfortable victory in the first contest, Bangladesh followed the same formula of winning the toss and opting to bat first. Dushmantha Chameera did put them on the back foot as he bowled a double-wicket maiden in the second over of the innings. However, the ever-reliable Mushfiqur Rahim (125 off 127) stood tall and produced another brilliant century to take his side to a competitive total of 246 in the first innings.

In reply, Sri Lanka had no answers to the brilliant Bangladesh bowling. Mehidy Hasan (3/28) and Mustafizur Rahman (3/16) weaved their magic as they completely destroyed the batting line-up of the visitors. No Lankan player could manage to post a 30+ score as Kusal Perera's side fell short of the target by 103 runs in a rain-affected game.
The fans on Twitter expressed their disappointment after seeing Sri Lanka's horrific downfall in cricket. While some mocked them for beating Rahim's score of 125 by one wicket, the others slammed the side for their poor performance. The Bangladesh fans hailed their side for winning the series and also going on top of the table of ODI Super League standings.
