Late Kobe Bryant, after five years of his death, is still remembered by his supporters as he is a colossal figure in the basketball world. He achieved some notable success during his 24-year professional career while serving LA Lakers and his national side United States (US). His contribution is vast in the US sports as he also pulled off a couple of Gold Medals (2008 and 2012). Delivering his services to Lakers from 1996 to 2016, he scored the third-most points in the league. Bryant also topped the Lakers' camp in several categories which include games (1,346), minutes (48,637), 3-pointers (1,827), steals (1,944), and free throws (8,378).

Bryant’s achievement can be celebrated soon with a film as there is a report from America’s Variety magazine that the legend’s biopic is in development at Warner Bros. As per the outlet, the upcoming movie is tentatively titled "With the 8th Pick?" Sources also add Warner Bros was brisk to gain the script to outclass other studios, and Gavin Johannsen and Alex Sohn have written the story of the movie.

Kobe Bryant’s stint with LA Lakers and final moments

Kobe Bryant played 20 seasons with the Lakers and during this period, he won five NBA titles with the team. In 2016, he retired from professional sport at the age of 37. In 2020, Bryant, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, accompanied by their other family friends lost their lives in a helicopter crash when it caught fire in the hills above Calabasas.

He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant, his daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri. After Kobe’s death, Vanessa has remained devoted to her family and philanthropy. In April 2025, Vanessa also paid an emotional tribute to her late husband on their 24th wedding anniversary.
