On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, John Cena made an appearance as part of the 2025 farewell tour, to thank the fans for making him a household name over the last two decades. Before John Cena got a word in front of a rowdy Irish crowd, Logan Paul made his way to the ring to a chorus of boos ahead of their highly anticipated singles match next weekend at WWE Clash in Paris Premium Live Event (PLE).

Logan Paul tried to mock John Cena and the Irish crowd, but the tables were soon turned, firstly by the people in the arena, who called him a “wanker” before the 17-time WWE Champion put “The Maverick” to shreds on the mic in a vintage promo, brutally upstaging him. Cena started by calling Paul a “dissappointment” rather than an “outsider” since the latter is perceived by many in WWE and the fans in general.

After that, John Cena reminded Logan Paul that he has wrestled just 23 matches in four years since his arrival in WWE, while the “Leader of Cenation” has been doing it for 23 years and not only televised matches, but also live events. Cena stated that Paul thinks about taking from the WWE rather than giving it, and for this reason, he is not an outsider, but a “parasite”, to the rousing approval of the Irish crowd.

John Cena hits Attitude Adjustment on Logan Paul before getting knocked out on WWE SmackDown

When John Cena told Logan Paul about how he plans to beat the ever-living shite out of him, The Maverick shoved him before trying to punch him, only for the Leader of Cenation to duck underneath and deliver him a thunderous Attitude Adjustment. A few minutes later, when an irate Paul was walking backstage, Drew McIntyre came into the picture and advised him to take out Cena before the end of the night at all costs.

Following the conclusion of the main event of SmackDown, in which WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill picked up the win over WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and Nia Jax, the cameras panned backstage. Over there, when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was about to deliver a message from Brock Lesnar to John Cena, it was Logan Paul, who sidestepped him, to knock out the latter with his right hand.

It will be interesting to see what message Aldis was about to deliver about Lesnar to Cena ahead of WWE Clash in Paris next weekend.
