In an announcement that has sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, WWE in collaboration with Events DC, revealed that 17-time World Champion John Cena will compete in his final professional wrestling match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025. It will take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. before his retirement from in-ring competition in WWE.
Following a year-long farewell tour that includes high-profile appearances at WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam, Cena will bring his career. “John’s contributions to WWE are immeasurable. He further said, “Together with our partners at Events DC and Capital One Arena, we look forward to honoring his legacy and delivering an unforgettable send-off for both John and the WWE Universe.”
