The August 18 episode of Monday Night WWE RAW aired live from Philadelphia with Seth “Freakin” Rollins. During the show, Paul Heyman confronted Jey Uso and referenced several ECW legends, including Sandman, New Jack, Sabu, and others. He also took things further by directing a shocking remark at Tommy Dreamer, going as far as to wish death upon him. Uso spoke to The Vision from the stands, calling them out for their overconfidence. Shortly after, Heyman grabbed the microphone once again, highlighting Philadelphia’s rich history and recalling some ECW legends. He then delivered a harsh insult aimed at Tommy Dreamer, referring to the 54-year-old Hall of Famer as the “late, great.” Heyman quickly added that while Dreamer wasn’t actually dead, he believed he should be.
"In the name of New Jack, the only real gangsta in this business. In the name of Rob Van Dam, smoking his opponents down at the corner of Swason and Ritner. In the name of the late great Sabu, in a very move that nobody saw before. In the name of the late great Tommy Dreamer – yeah, I know, he’s not dead yet but he should be. In the name of the Dudley Boyz, putting everyone through tables," Paul said during the WWE Raw Live.
Paul Heyman nicknames Roman Reigns' "Old Big Dog" to Bron Breakker
At Monday Night RAW, Paul Heyman referred to Bron Breakker as Roman Reigns’ new nickname, the “Old Big Dog.” He went on to declare that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion represents the future of WrestleMania and is the very man who taught Roman Reigns to “fear the spear.”. For example, The Future of WrestleMania, The Man That Taught Roman Reigns to Fear The Spear, Ladies and Gentlemen, he's the Big Dog, and this is his yard, Bron Breakker."
Meanwhile, Breakker is set to miss the upcoming Clash in Paris Premium Live Event. His stablemates, Seth Rollins and Branson Reed, will still be in action. Rollins is scheduled to defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Reed, who has been causing chaos by stealing Roman Reigns’ sneakers, was called out for a match by the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion on this week’s RAW.
