One of WWE’s legends, the Undertaker who rose back from the grave back in the day, the 60-year-old icon of wrestling entertainment was an undisputed force to reckon with during his playing career until he retired from the wrestling entertainment show in the year 2020 playing his last match at Wrestlemania 36 against AJ Styles.

The Undertaker was widely regarded and recognised by wrestling fans all over the world for his 21 match winning streak at the Wrestlemania. Fans were incredibly impressed by the longevity and consistency of the Undertaker to emerge on top of the opponent every single year in the the grandest event of it all despite his growing age over time. However, this record benchmark which was set by the Undertaker was broken at the Wrestlemania 30 by the beast incarnate ‘Brock Lesnar’ who defied the odds and brought an end to Undertaker’s massive feat at the Wrestlemania.

I might have taken it easy on him: The Undertaker

Undertaker was recently seen in the recent episode of ‘Six feet Under’ in which he was discussing his life currently after the end of his career. Suddenly when this topic came up, Undertaker stated that, “"I think the general consensus was nobody wanted it (ending the streak). I think just the lore, the legend, and lure of that, would have been really cool for wrestling." The 60-year-old stated that did not have a say in the decision and would have loved to achieve such a milestone to his name.

The Undertaker  further added that, "It wasn't my decision. People ask me all the time, ‘Well, why did you do it?’ Well, I didn’t really have a choice. I guess I did have a choice. I didn’t have to do it. And then what happens? And then me and Brock are having to shoot at WrestleMania, and then it’s gonna, it wouldn’t have been good. I mean, might have taken it easy on him.”
