The newest edition of WWE SmackDown will happen at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, and it will serve as a build-up to Saturday Night’s Main Event at the start of next month. The coveted WWE Championship, currently held by Cody Rhodes, will be at stake on Saturday Night’s Main Event as Drew McIntyre will challenge him for it, but with just eight days remaining to the show, both these superstars are slated to appear on SmackDown.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will go one-on-one against Kiana James, who is the manager of WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia, following their backstage altercation last week on SmackDown. With the MFTs and the Wyatt Sicks having an intense staredown on the show recently, it will be interesting to see what happens next between these two groups.

It is a stacked card put together for WWE SmackDown, which is expected to throw a few surprises apart from scheduled matches, just like every other weekly show in the promotion.
