The newest edition of WWE SmackDown is set to go down at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, and it will serve as a fall out show for the incredible Clash in Paris Premium Live Event (PLE) last weekend. John Cena will make his presence felt on his 2025 farewell tour after defeating Logan Paul in France, and it is rumored to be his final WWE SmackDown as an in-ring performer with Wrestlepalooza PLE implications for later this month.

CM Punk found himself more than in the crossheirs of Seth Rollins once again with the latter’s wife and fellow superstar Becky Lynch costing him the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris before attacking him verbally and physically on WWE Raw as part of The Vision group. Following that, Punk hinted to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce about potentially appearing on WWE SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago, to possibly find himself some backup against Rollins and Lynch.

It is a stacked card put together for WWE SmackDown, which is expected to throw a few surprises apart from scheduled matches, just like every other weekly show in the promotion.
