In the first session of Day 5, some words were exchanged between Bumrah and Mark Wood and later with Jos Buttler in between the overs. He was also seen uttering some words with animated gestures. Virender Sehwag, who is well known for his witty responses, had a unique suggestion for Bumrah. Sehwag was in the commentary box when the incident unfolded. On seeing Bumrah losing his cool, Sehwag framed an answer for Bumrah to give it back to the English bowlers. He jokingly said, “If I was Bumrah, I would have said, I am from Mumbai Indians and will get all your IPL contracts cancelled”.
