The tides kept on shifting from one camp to the other which led to a thrilling viewing for the fans. While Shaw got DC to an explosive start, Josh Hazlewood got CSK back into the game with couple of wickets.

With four wickets down, the responsibility was then on the duo of Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer to stitch a crucial partnership. They were certainly feeling the pressure of the play-offs which became very evident on the 5th delivery of 11th over.

What actually happened?

As Shimron Hetmyer nudged the ball down the leg side, he sprinted quickly in hope of completing a double. However, the duo decided to cancel their plans of a second run as Moeen Ali had already reached the ball. But, the drama was yet to begin!

Moeen threw the ball waywardly, exactly in the middle of striker's and non-striker's end. Citing an opportunity to steal a run off overthrow, Hetmyer and Pant looked at each other and ran a few yards before mutually deciding to abort the run.

It was quite a hilarious sequence of events as the DC batters took a moment to settle their nerves while Moeen Ali apologized for his mistake. The on-air commentators also could not stop laughing as they opined that some of the players might have gone slightly sleepy for a moment.
